The Early Reach program, administered jointly by Harris County, United Way, and BakerRipley, provides free access to high-quality early childhood education for children up to four years old in Harris County. This initiative supports parents by enabling them to attend school or go to work, while ensuring their young children receive care at reputable childcare centers. Ultimately, Early Reach aims to empower families, support young children's development, strengthen childcare providers, and bolster the early childhood workforce.
The primary aim of the visual identity for this program was to develop a modern, bold, fun, and approachable design that would engage our target audience and raise awareness of this free government initiative. Inspired by the program's logo, I deconstructed the design and created a variety of complementary assets featuring the signature branch and pencil motifs. Having this versatile collection of visual elements simplified the overall branding process. While I personally designed all supplementary materials, the main logo was developed separately.
